The Grecian
Room

Painted in a soothing color of
green, this room relaxes you from the moment you walk through
the door. Your eyes will rest on the fabric-draped bed,
inviting you to intimacy between two marble columns on
sentinel in each corner. Turn your eyes up, and you will see
the dormer opening to the stained glass window which bathes

The Jungle Room
|
One of our customer’s favorite
rooms transports you to a romantic South American jungle
adventure. The room includes a wonderful jungle mural on
four walls and ceiling, draped netting around the bed,
uniquely carved furniture, including an antique elephant
table, as well as a Jacuzzi tub intimately enclosed with
netting. Large tropical plants and a bamboo armoire complete
the setting. For those chilly Oklahoma nights, a marble and
iron fireplace is available for your comfort. This room also
has access to our balcony with a wonderful view of the outside
gardens. You’ll love this room painted by local artist
Steve Sewell.

The Medieval Room
|
What a place for romance! From
the beautifully sewn bed covers and draperies, to the swords
on the specially painted and glazed walls, the medieval room
surrounds you with opulent luxury and intrigues the senses
with the romance of the Arthurian era. Hues of gold and
purple, along with the massive furnishings of this room
enhance the feeling of being in the bed chamber of a great
feudal king. Enjoy the pleasant vista of our backyard gardens
from the shared balcony after your relaxing Jacuzzi
bath. |
The Modern Room
|
Our modern room boasts the clean lines
and geometric patterns of the decorating craze first made
popular by Frank Lloyd Wright in the 1950s. Stainless steel
and cobalt blue accessories electrify the room with energy,
yet the custom sewn bedding and pillows by Oletta’s Draperies,
along with the Jacuzzi, offer an invitation for
romance. |
The Santa Fe Room
 |
The zigzag entrance of this room
gives one the feeling of entering into an art gallery. This
room’s décor begins around " Girl With A Fox" a print
by Terri Sodd, a world famous Ruidoso, NM artist. Terri
uses beautiful Cherokee models for her paintings.
Decorative items of this room
include a Navajo basket and signed pottery, along with other
American Indian artifacts and crafts.
Tiles around the Jacuzzi tub
were laid by a local tile layer, Ricky Maddox. The vanity’s
mosaic top was lain by Flora Ann and the vanity was built by
crafter Jerry Parr from Henrietta, TX.
The colors of the walls in this
room take you to the Painted Desert for a time of reflection
on our American heritage.

The Dugger Room

|
Step into a gentlemen’s retreat
when you pass through the 42-inch door, original to the
building. The name comes from Mr. {Richard} Dugger who resided
in this area in the 1920’s, the era in which the hospital was
in operation. The hats that adorn one wall and fill a curio
cabinet belonged to this distinguished businessman. The
cherry-wood trim and furniture give a feeling of being in an
office or library, a man’s room, but what excitement if you
are the lady asked to spend the night in this room. Its
gorgeous, tall poster bed, paintings, and sculpture make for a
romantic getaway. |
The Western Room
|
Straight out of a Louis Lamour
novel, horseshoes grace the headboard of the Ranch Oak bed
made in Wichita Falls, TX in the 1940’s for the Nob Hill Lodge
in Ruidoso, NM. There it remained until the 1990’s when it was
purchased by Joe and Ann and taken to Texas, then on to
Oklahoma to the bed and breakfast, where it found a new
home.
Rich umber and garnet colors,
and an antique armoire, add just the ambiance to take
you back to the Old West. Add a couple of leather chairs, a
western novel, and a cozy atmosphere to complete the feeling.
Put your spurs on and come see us; with our amenities, you’ll
not miss the comforts of home.

The Victorian Room
|

fru –fru room and this is ours! The carved twin beds are
original to the building. Relax with a cup of tea and
afternoon snack at the wicker settee while enjoying the view
of one of the B & B’s several garden areas or choose a

completely in Victorian attire, this room invites you to be
pampered to the fullest. |
The Oriental
Room

|
The Handicap/Oriental Room is
located on the main floor across from the gift shop. It is
close to the entrance where the handicap ramp and parking area
is. This room offers easy access to the gift shop and the
Music Inn Fine Dinning
area.
Feng Shui best describes the
atmosphere in this relaxing room, which includes oriental
wallpaper, antique black lacquered table and chest with pearl
inlay, and a unique and pleasing décor. The bathroom wall has
an enchanting original painting featuring bamboo, butterfly
and dragonfly.
Although this room will
accommodate the handicapped, it is available to anyone who
prefers not to climb the stairs and would enjoy an extra large
shower.
